چکیده

The inclusive single and double differential cross sections for neutral and charged current processes are measured with the H1 detector at HERA, in the range of four-momentum transfer squared between and GeV , and Bjorken between and . The data were taken in 1998 and 1999 with a centre-of-mass energy of 320 GeV and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 16.4 . The data are compared with recent measurements of the inclusive neutral and charged current cross sections. For ! " # $ &%('*) clear evidence is observed for an asymmetry between and neutral current scattering and the generalised structure function ,+ -/. is extracted for the first time at HERA. A fit to the charged current data is used to extract a value for the 0 boson propagator mass. The data are found to be in good agreement with Standard Model predictions. To be submitted to Eur. Phys. Measurement of Neutral and Charged Current Cross-Sections in Electron-Proton Collisions at HighQ2 at HERA H1 Collaboration

The inclusive e p single and double differential cross sections for neutral and charged current processes are measured with the H1 detector at HERA. The cross sections are measured in the range of four-momentum transfer squared Q2 between 200 and 30 000 GeV2, and Bjorken x between 0:0032 and 0:65. The data were taken with the H1 detector at HERA in 1998 and 1999 with a centre-of-mass energy of ...

Measurement of high-Q deep inelastic scattering cross sections with longitudinally polarised positron beams at HERA

The first measurements of the cross sections for neutral and charged current deep inelastic scattering in ep collisions with longitudinally polarised positron beams are presented. The total cross section for ep charged current deep inelastic scattering is presented at positive and negative values of positron beam longitudinal polarisation for an integrated luminosity of 37.0 pb H1 data and 30.5...

Measurement of the Charged Current Cross Section in Positron–Proton Collisions at HERA

A measurement of the inclusive charged current cross section in positron–proton collisions at a centre–of–mass energy of √ s = 320GeV is presented. The data were taken in the years 1999 and 2000 with the H1 detector at HERA and correspond to an integrated luminosity of L = 65.25 pb−1. For the kinematic range of four–momentum transfer Q between 300GeV and 15, 000GeV and Bjørken x between 0.013 a...

2 Neutral and Charged Current Dis at Large Q

Data from the HERA collider experiments, H1 and ZEUS, have been fundamental to the rapid recent development of our understanding of the partonic composition of the proton and of QCD. This report focuses on inclusive measurements of neutral and charged current cross sections at HERA, using the full available data taken to date. The present precision on the proton parton densities and the further...

Measurement of Neutral and Charged Current Cross-Sections at HighQ2 H1 Collaboration

The inclusive single and double differential cross sections for neutral and charged current processes with Q2 between 200 and 30000 GeV2 are measured in e+p collisions with the H1 detector at HERA using the data taken in 1994-1997, which corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 37 pb 1. The data amount to an increase in statistics by a factor of twelve with respect to the analysis of the 1994...

Measurement of the Q 2 Dependence of the Charged and Neutral Current Cross Sections in E P Scattering at Hera H1 Collaboration

The Q 2 dependence and the total cross sections for charged and neutral current processes are measured in e p reactions for transverse momenta of the outgoing lepton larger than 25 GeV. Comparable size of cross sections for the neutral current process and for the weak charged current process are observed above Q 2 5000 GeV 2. Using the shape and magnitude of the charged current cross section we...
